Our approach

Patricia J. LaFave, Ph.D. and Associates, P.C. is the oldest and most established outpatient mental health practice in Jackson County. Our therapists have been providing professional psychotherapy to individuals and couples for over forty years. We have fully licensed Ph.D. psychologists, fully licensed social workers, fully licensed professional counselors and limited licensed professional counselors on our staff. We specialize in individual (child, adolescent and adult) as well as marriage counseling. Most insurances are accepted. We offer appointments Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and also have Saturday appointments available.

We now offer Clinical Supervision of Limited License Professional Counselors working toward their Licensed Professional Counselor License. We offer both individual and group sessions, either in-person or virtual supervision meetings, or a combination of those two following the State of Michigan guidelines.
